The Maryland Food System Map Project (MFSMP) was developed by the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future in the Bloomberg School of Public Health. It is an interactive mapping tool and database and other tools that anyone can use to examine the current landscape of Maryland’s food system from farm to plate – including how food is grown, processed, sold and consumed. By looking at the many different parts of the food system through the lens of geography, this resource helps to discover opportunities and inform activities aimed at strengthening the system.
